One tip I’ve frequently read on boosting self-esteem is to do something charitable, particularly volunteering. This makes a lot of sense as bringing happiness to others will inevitably make you feel like you’ve given something good to the world and that you have something to offer people.
If you don’t have time to volunteer, you can still make others around you feel happy. You could…
- Write a note or send a text to someone telling them how great they are
- Compliment a stranger
- Send a package to a friend with some goodies in (I loved it when a friend did this for me once)
Take the time this week to do something that makes someone else feel good about themselves. I guarantee this will give you a boost 🙂
