Get your bake on

Have you ever tried baking as a way to reduce stress, anxiety and depression? I have heard from others that it is a great way to distract yourself from negative thoughts and channel your energy into something positive. I must say, anything that validates baking and eating cannot be a bad thing!

As it’s the final of GBBO tonight, it does seem like the ideal time to try this out. So get those baking utensils out and make something. If you’re new to baking and challenged in this area (you can join my club if so), start with something really simple like fairy cakes or a victoria sponge. You do not want this to end up a frustrating task!! So maybe leave that showstopper until a few weeks in 😉
