Day Seventeen: Follow
I spend a lot of time on social media. It’s something I really want to reduce, but in the meantime I have decided if I’m going to spend my time and energy looking at social media, I need to at least make sure it serves me well. So a few months ago I had a massive cull. I wanted to only follow people who inspired me or made me feel good. It has definitely made a difference and today I encourage you to do the same – unfollow any accounts/people who don’t make you feel good about yourself. Follow accounts that inspire and motivate you.
Here are 10 accounts on Instagram which I would recommend following:
@dogstrust (if you like dogs!)
@vickypattison (she keeps a nice balance of female glamour and reality!)
@fearnecotton (honest picture of motherhood)
@jameelajamilofficial (creator of the i_weigh movement)
@davinamccall (keeps it real – inspires you to exercise!)
@40acts (great during Lent – take on the generosity challenge)
@thebodycoach (exercise/fatherhood inspiration)
I also follow a lot of yoga and travel accounts because those are two things I love, and of course my friends and family. Aaaaand I do still follow some celebrities – no way I’m unfollowing Mark Ruffalo and Hugh Jackman!
