Day Twenty-eight: When you don’t feel good about yourself, what do you do to change that, if anything?
I was talking about this in a recent Boost of the Day, all about looking for the positives. In that post, I talked about how you must always look for the positives in yourself and focus on this, no matter how small the positive you have found is. Anything to distract you from the negative thoughts you are having…
Having a mantra (e.g. ‘You are good enough’) can also be useful at some points.
I personally found exercise a good way to give yourself a boost, particularly when you feel bad about yourself – a way of ‘dusting off the cobwebs’ so to speak.
Another of my most successful ways to feel better is to read content on the web about people going through a similar thing. Hence why I started this blog!
These are the particular things that I have found useful, although I’m sure it’s all about finding what works for you to feel better…
