This quote seems particularly relevant today. Last night I was due to meet a guy I’ve been hankering after for the past month and who has already messed me around a fair bit…he ended up cancelling on me – 30 minutes after we were due to meet!!

If we go back to the ‘me’ a year ago, I probably would have forgiven him and taken his excuses.

Today’s ‘me’ is thankfully growing in self-worth and self-esteem, and I am strong enough to let him go and definitely patient enough to wait for what I deserve.

Ladies, Gentlemen – you deserve respect and manners, so respect and love yourself enough to get rid of those who are devoid of these qualities.
