We put up many barriers around ourselves nowadays as we go through life. We get hurt and put up walls to prevent it happening again. We become defensive and easily angry at the people around us, often those who genuinely care about us.
So try something different now. Try putting barriers down and offering people some of the real you, the ‘smooshy’ inside part that you hide away. Open up and let people see the real you. It’s far more likely you’ll find happiness this way rather than remaining closed to the world.
