If you're going to use up energy on something, don't make it misery and hatred. Focus it on becoming stronger and seeing the positive in your situation, no matter how negative it may initially seem.

Boost of the day #35: Take That
So I went to see Take That last night... Firstly, oh my god they are amazing! Secondly, they have a great song called Shine which has not only an incredible catchy tune, but also the lyrics really mean something to me. I used to listen to this song when my self esteem was suffering because the … Continue reading Boost of the day #35: Take That
Boost of the day #34: Dolly Parton
The journey to higher self-esteem must begin with finding out who you truly are. What makes you happy? What do you enjoy? Who do you want to spend time with? Start asking yourself what your heart truly desires, and begin doing it on purpose.
Boost of the day #33: Ed Sheeran
I love Ed Sheeran mostly because his lyrics are beautiful and meaningful. Turns out he both sings and speaks a lot of sense! He recognised his own style of music and didn't do what others were doing. Boost of the day #32: Your power
I never would have put Dave Grohl as a motivational speaker but turns out he has more in him that Foo Fighter talent! Remember, being unique is your power - embrace who you truly are and give it to the world.
Booster tip #3: Face your fears

It's Friday and your focus today must be self love, even Shakespeare says so! There is nothing sinful in taking the time to love yourself, it is far worse to neglect yourself. Happy Friday x
Boost of the day #30: Air of mystery
I've mentioned before that attention seeking is often a big sign of low self-esteem. Emma Watson is such a wonderful role model for young women - she is successful, classy and intelligent. Her success comes from her ability to act, now through attention seeking 'Miley Cyrus/Kim Kardashian' methods. An air of mystery is a great … Continue reading Boost of the day #30: Air of mystery
Boost of the day #29: Be your own hero
Don't wait for someone to save you, you can save yourself. You are enough.
Boost of the day #28: Nolite te bastardes carborundorum
"Nolite te bastardes carborundorum" "Don't let the bastards grind you down" This is my favourite quote from The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood and it seems particularly fitting to use it now. When people treat you badly, that has nothing to do with you and everything to do with them and their issues. We all … Continue reading Boost of the day #28: Nolite te bastardes carborundorum
