To keep your mental health strong, one useful tip is to write down what you are grateful for in life. Try to either write down or think aloud three things per day. No matter how small a thing this may be, it might just help you to see the light instead of the darkness at the end of a hard day. Or at the beginning of a day, it might give you a little hope for the day ahead.
My example today:
- I am grateful for being able to come back home to a flat with heating (it is getting cold!)
- I am grateful for having a friend around to have a cuppa with
- I am grateful that I will be seeing my family tomorrow
