Day eleven: Do you like the way that you are? Why or why not?
If you’d have asked this question to me last year, and at certain periods throughout my entire life, I would have answered with a resounding no. I would have happily reeled off a number of reasons to why I was not quite good enough.
However, now I do like the way I am (phew). This is because I accepted that I had a problem, and I have now taken the time to work through those issues. Low self esteem is like any other problem – the important steps are realisation and then making an effort to change, despite how tough it may seem.
